On Monday 17 January, at 10am, National Union of Journalists (NUJ) president Ha'ta Wahari will face the domestic inquiry initiated by "Utusan Malaysia" against him for criticising political interference in the newspaper. He will either be sacked or suspended.



He was just one voice speaking for many people, not only that of his peers, but also of the people, many of whom incessantly complain in alternative media and online about the paper's unethical reporting. Yet the people have not been speaking up as loudly for him in return.
